In-Sight’s Newest Dancers!




We are thrilled to have Allie, Sarah and Tim joining In-Sight Dance Company!  ”Afterglow” is a selection from a full length ballet In-Sight Dance is currently developing. It will premiere in Fall 2010 and is choreographed to Ian Axel’s latest album, “This is the New Year”.  This piece that is shown is a recent rehearsal and remains a work in progress.

In-Sight is proud to work with and support a talented group of dancers.  They are committed creating inspiring works of art, and serving their community through dance and community outreach.





Amanda Keller – Dancer and Guest Choreographer
Amanda hails from Philadelphia where she began her early dance training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet. (PAB) While at PAB, Amanda gained extensive ballet training and performed in various classical ballets as a soloist and corps member including, The Nutcracker, Giselle, and Le Corsaire. While in Philadelphia, Amanda also had the opportunity to experiment with more contemporary choreography when she would take Kip Martin’s contemporary ballet class at Koresh School of Dance.  Amanda attended various summer dance intensives including: Kirov Academy of Ballet in D.C., North Carolina Dance Theater, Boston Ballet Summer Intensive, and Concord Academy of Dance.   Amanda spent a year developing her career as a dancer and choreographer at SUNY Purchase and then moved to New York City to complete her Dance & Sociology degrees at The New School University.  Amanda received a scholarship to train at the Cunningham Dance Studios in the summer of 2006 where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the Cunningham technique and repertoire.  Amanda gained experience with community service when she volunteered at the Golden Slipper Senior Center in Philadelphia, PA. Golden Slipper is a nonprofit organization that provides its members with cultural experiences such as current event discussion groups, cooking classes, and entertainment such as magic shows.  Amanda continues to volunteer and work with In-Sight Dance Company.





Lina Kent – Dancer
Lina Kent was born and raised in New York, and received her dance training at Ballet Hispanico where she danced for the Jr. Ensemble. She attended Dean College for Dance, and while in school performed with Pioneer Valley Ballet, along with Dean’s own ballet company. Since leaving school she has performed as a guest artist in Washington D.C. and danced with New American Youth Ballet. Lina would like to thank her friends and family for their support, and is thrilled to be an In-Sight dancer for a second season!





Cody Potter – Dancer

Cody Potter is a graduate of the Studio Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He has performed multiple times with Haberdasher Theater Company(Actor/Director), Axis Theater Company (Ass. Director), KidStuff kids show (actor), “Footloose” (Actor Off Off Broadway), and most recently with “Fred” directed by the brilliant Ashley Kelly Tata. This is his first all dance show and is so excited to share this experience with all the friends and family who have supported/pushed/worked out with him. “Thank you guys for making sure i knew this was a possibility, love you much!”  Cody continues to volunteer and work with In-Sight Dance Company.



Hsing-Hua Wang – Guest Artist

In-Sight Dance Company is delighted to have Hsing-Hua Wang as a guest artist for their world premier.  Hsing-Hua hails from Taiwain where she received training at the National Taiwan University of Arts.  She has appeared with the National Ballet of Taipei as a guest artist in a production in cooperation with Guangzhou Ballet Company entitled “a Night of China and Taiwan Cross-Century Ballet Culture Exchange,” which was performed at Sun Yi Sen Memorial Hall and toured Taiwan.  She has also performed as a soloist with the National Association of Dance Malaysia, and as a principal dancer with Capital Ballet Taipei.  She performed with the Tapei Ballet Company in “Die Kameliendame” for the festival at the National Theatre of Auckland in New Zleand, and in the company’s production of “Tchaikovsky-None but Lonely Heart”.  She has also appeared with the Dortmund Theater of Germany.  Recently she has performed in New York City at City Center in Natalya Stavro’s ballet “Paguita” and with Ballet for Young Audiences in the Nutcracker.  Hsing-Hua  continues to volunteer and work with In-Sight Dance Company.




Sarah Badger – Dancer

Sarah Badger received her training at the Ballet San Antonio Academy, and the North East School of the Arts high school where she majored in dance and musical theater. She has spent summers training with the Joffrey Ballet, The Jillana School, and the American Theater Dance Workshop. Sarah performed at SeaWorld San Antonio for three seasons, and danced with Alamo Arts Ballet Theater as a soloist, before moving to New York City to attend Marymount Manhattan College. She thanks God, and her husband Graham for their everlasting love and support!




Allie Lochary – Dancer

From Charlotte, NC, Allie graduated cum laude with a BFA in Dance from Elon University in 2009. Prior to graduating, she was a member of kearns dance project for two years, and toured with the company throughout North Carolina. Her choreography was also presented at the American College Dance Festival for adjudication in 2008. Upon graduation, Allie performed with Martha Connerton’s Kinetic Works Dance Co. in Charlotte. Since relocating to New York, she has been seen in a promotional flash mob for the movie “Fame,” and most recently as a soloist in Oliver Steele’s piece for the performance project series at Dance New Amsterdam.




Tim Chester – Dancer

Tim started dancing at the age of 12 and holds a B.A. in Theater Arts from the Richard Stockton College of NJ, where he apprenticed with the Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre. He was hired as a production cast dancer for Celebrity Cruises aboard the ship Horizon, after which he went on to sail on the Celebrity Ship’s Millennium, Infinity, and two contracts aboard the Constellation.  With Celebrity, Tim has performed all over the world including Russia, Scandinavia, Argentina, Spain, Alaska, and Brazil.  Tim came back to the states, and joined the Atlantic City Ballet as a company member where he originated the roles of Demetrius in Midsummer’s Night Dream and Van Helsing in Dracula for the company.  Tim has also performed with Monarch Dance Company, Figments Dance Ensemble, and performed in many industrials including performing with 80’s pop star Deborah Gibson.

Enthuse Theatre

In-Sight Dance worked with Enthuse Theatre to bring Aristophanes’ The Clouds to Astoria Park in August. In-Sight Artistic Director Leeanne M. G-Bowley and In-Sight dancer Cody Potter co-choreographed this Enthuse Theatre production.  This was a free performance rehearsed and performed in Queens breathtaking Astoria Park!
